Five Favorites Friday–3rd Ed.

A few favorites and some randomness from my week.

1) Taper week. Well, whether that’s truly a favorite is debatable. Anyway, here’s what I ran this week:

Monday: 6 miles of hills after work with Ryan. And some arguing over whose great idea this was.

Tuesday: 4 treadmill miles

Wednesday: 6 treadmill miles

Thursday: 4 treadmill miles

2) The Best Whole Chicken in the Slow Cooker from the 100 Days of Real Food cookbook. Unpictured, as I have zero food photography skills and wouldn’t want to scare you. I’ve made it twice now. The meat literally falls right off the bone. I’m not a meat eater, but it was super easy and there were zero dinner complaints. Which is obviously a win for me.

3) Everything at Oiselle right now. Seriously they keep cranking out new stuff and I keep adding to my list.

I do need to pick up one (or two) of these ASAP though so I can wear it while it’s still warm out. I LOVE the back.

4) True Detective. Has anyone seen this? My husband kept telling me I needed to watch it and he was right.

I was hooked after the first five minutes. For all you Matthew McConaughey fans, he is borderline unrecognizable.

5) Teachers with a sense of humor.

And a bonus….
6) Girls’ trips!

Santa Fe running weekend bound!

  1. I’m with you, the new oiselle stuff is so cute!!! Have a great trip:)

  2. I’m really ready for Oiselle to make something atrocious so I don’t go broke 😉 I have that top in the orange and white and I love it so much. You need it. We watched True Detective when it aired and it became obsession. I felt like the ending was a little bit of a letdown but the acting is so amazing.

    • Cecilia….you are not kidding. Not a single imperfect thing out there. Annnnd, I’ll be placing my order tonight:) Me + the treadmill + True Detective have a date tomorrow.

  3. We haven’t started on True Detective but I so want to watch it! And Season 2 will have Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell!? Can’t be bad…

I’m with you, Oiselle needs to start making ugly things or at least clothing that falls apart so I can stop buying it. I’m having problems not ordering every time they put out new items. It’s a problem.

    • Sarah–You will love it–and I didn’t know that! That will be great….And haha, glad I’m not the only one. I think I need to join Oiselle Addicts Anonymous.
